Ye Ole Outdoors

Evening Gang!  Thought I'd share some photos from my time at "Worlds End" state park.  Took the bike out for about 40 miles of trails and road riding.  

Ton of fun and good for clearing the old mind of mine!  That view from "High Knob"  was gorgeous!

One Wary Wolf

Or one floofy wolf!  This one was a struggle, had a lot of difficulty figuring out the angles and the look that I was trying to achieve.  I think I was able to get it down pretty good though! 

Such a prep!

 Show'em that ole razzle dazzle; hey bucky got clothes!  Just some playing around with Bucky tonight.  Wanted to do some work on his work.

Quick Shapes and Poses

Practicing shapes and posing from memory.  This was to see how many otter poses I could squeeze out of my noggin!  Tried to keep it quick and loose-ish.

Designing Dragons

Playing around with some different shapes for some concepts.  I think the two middle ones (pointy and old looking dragon) are my favorite!

Fun With Expressions

After the previous nights struggle with getting my character down onto paper I went back  and shot out some quick expressions to get my mind wrapped around Bucky's look and feel again.  

I ALWAYS love drawing expressions.  One of my favorite past-times!

Monstrous Ramifications

Been awhile since I've played with Kaiju Bucky.  Was trying to do another updated Bucky Beaver character sheet but it wasn't working so I took the frustration out with this.

Ye Ole Anxiety Dragon

Been a bit of a whirlwind this holiday and  I've been struggling a bit with drawing as of late.  Anxiety and life has been making it rather hard to focus on my art as of late.  I just have to shake off what's botheri...

Sapcey Dinosaur - Part 2

Some more concept work; it's a start but feel it still needs a lot of work.  Not getting the vibe I'm quite looking for.

Action Poses!

As well as some expression work!  

Always a bit disappointed with my posing/acting abilities and so I decided to draw up ole Bucky here in a variety of poses.

Wasn't aiming for a perfect looking character design but emphasizing the gesture.  I don't think it came out too bad...

He feels like one of those coll yet bumbling kind of space characters. Gonna chew on this idea for a bit.

Some sketchy hoots.  Not super pleased with these, may try some more for practice, but it was a good attempt!

The red eye owl was my favorite.  Saw on google some images of owls with light reflecting back red in their eyes; they looked truly evil.  It was delightful! XD

Friday Feline Sketch!

Bit exhausted last night but squeaked out a 45 minute sketch for some fun.  Drawing expressions are always a highlight for me.

Going to take the weekend off from sketching to re-energize.

Curious Raptor Sketch

Bit of a brain inspiration funk at the moment so drew up this generic raptor in an attempt to keep the noggin flowing.

Hopefully it'll help break up the minor art block!
