Ceramics test batch
Added 2023-08-22 18:56:37 +0000 UTCMade some new ceramic pieces- porcelain is an amazingly soft clay, but also fragile. Itโs a type of clay mixed with silica, which makes it extremely hard when fired. Iโve always loved the look of porcelain, but itโs very tough to work with! It looks amazing with the red underglaze and clear glaze overcoat.
This batch is currently not fired, but will be sometime this week, and when finished will have a clear, glassy texture.
Pieces from this test batch will be sent out to the high tier patrons, theyโre a random assortment of ideas, so whatever youโre getting will be a surprised! I love all these concepts though, and will probably move on to mass produce 1 or 2 ideas from this batch.

I have one test piece fired with the bloody style and they came out so cool! Really excited for this batch to finish firing!
