They had their expectations set by watching a cool dragon fight in an arena for the 1st contest and then they just get to watch the surface of a lake and the entrance of a labyrinth. All the action happens where nobody can see it

2025-09-29 21:24:17 +0000 UTCThis is the only movie that really lost me the book especially I could never get through. I tried to finish the books twice and I could never get past this one. I think I felt the entire premise was just really forced and because of that I couldn't care that much about the tournament. Still a good watch though and it coming right after my favorite for sure didn't make it look any better.

2025-09-29 01:26:46 +0000 UTCSo glad you enjoyed it (the next is my personal favorite and one i think youโll especially like) some fun facts: there are multiple magical schools including ones in Brazil and America. The American schoolโs houses are: Horned Serpant (Ravenclaw surprisingly) Pukwudgie(hufflepuff) Thunderbird (gryffindor) and Wampus(slytherin) HS like ravenclaws represent the mind and value wisdom, Pukโs love to serve and care for others, Thunderbirds seek adventure, and wampusโs are warriors who rely on brute strength. There are males at beauxbattons but they arenโt shown in the movie and some of the girls such as fleur are part Veela which is why the guys are basically tripping over themselves for them. Victor isnโt a full adult yet but has special permission to play professional quidditch because of his skill. And finally Madame Maxine is a half giant like Hagrid but in the book she is shown to be ashamed of it and is insulted when hagrid brings it up (giants and wizards have an uneasy past a lot of innocent giants were hunted and killed thatโs part of why hagridโs mom left his dad fear of being hunted by others even though he loved her)
