Epidural Updates 💉

I got my pain management epidural today!

The process itself wasn’t too bad, I did almost pass out at one point but I’m not sure if that was from pain or my POTS disability. Luckily I’m very good at managing and didn’t ask for a full numbing!

Aftermath has been SO MUCH WORSE!! 🤣

Within an hour or two, I was beyond sick and stuck in bed - the sickness DID clear up, but luckily it didn’t bother me a ton!

I am currently in so much pain as of the last hour (hit the 12 hour mark) that I could easily say it’s about 5x the procedure itself.

I will probably be working only a tiny bit tomorrow, taking a heavy pain med, FINALLY BEING ALLOWED TO SHOWER, and resting a ton!

In 2-3 days we will see if there’s any results on lessening my spinal injury pain! Really hoping what I’m dealing with is worth the struggle! My spirits are high!
