π Big Patreon Update β Improvements, Speed, and a Healthier Workflow π
Added 2025-11-23 01:34:57 +0000 UTCIβve been doing a lot of thinking about how I work, whatβs been holding me back, and what I want Zippers and my art in general to look like moving forward.
The truth is... I have tons of ideas. Pages, side comics, spicy one-offs, pinups, my brain never stops.
But the biggest limiting factor right now is coloring. Color is what slows me down the most. Not because I donβt enjoy it, but because it eats time, energy, and confidence in ways that black-and-white pages simply donβt. Iβve been scared to experiment, scared to break my workflow, scared that βif I tweak the system even a little, everything will collapse.β
But that mindset has been holding me back for years. It got me this far, but it wonβt take me any further. So hereβs whatβs changing, in a way that helps everyone, including me, stay productive, sane, and excited about making art again:
1οΈβ£ Faster Black & White Comics (Feedback Wanted!)
First, I want to know how you all feel about more black-and-white comic pages (ONLY for certain projects, Zippers will stay fully colored).
This would let me:
produce pages much faster
stay consistent with updates
avoid burnout
tell more stories instead of getting stuck on single pages
Your input on this matters a lot, so please! Leave a comment and your thoughts about this idea.
2οΈβ£ Reward Tier Overhaul (Finally Fixing the System)
I undervalued myself. I overloaded myself. And I didnβt set hard limits, which turned the reward system into a traffic jam.
So weβre cleaning it up properly:
π₯ The $35 tier will be retired on December 31, 2025. (I know that I've been having issues fulling this reward, but the truth is I can't fulfill it while working on comics, commissions and content. I'll come up with something to give everyone for their support so they don't feel like they got nothing.)
Replacing it with:
β $25 Tier β Sketch Rewards
Clean grayscale or line-art sketches
Limited slots so I donβt overload myself
β $65 Tier β Full Reward Image
Full commission-grade artwork
Also limited slots
Predictable load, no burnout
This creates a healthier, more sustainable system that delivers actual rewards instead of backlog stress.
And unlike Apple or Nintendo, Iβm not removing features and charging more, Iβm restructuring so you get better, faster, and more reliable rewards.
β Monthly Random Image Giveaway
Once a month, Iβll pick a random supporter and draw them a nice surprise piece, just because you guys deserve more fun bonuses that donβt break my workflow.
3οΈβ£ PSD Files β Should They Come Back? (I Need Your Input!)
Some of you have asked about PSDs in the past, and I want to address that honestly.
I used to include PSD files as rewards, but switching to Clip Studio changed things a bit.
Saving .clip files as .psd can sometimes:
flatten layers weirdly
shift colors
break blending modes
or simply not display correctly for everyone
Not all programs read .clip files, so I stopped including them because I didnβt want to deliver broken or partially usable files.
But if people truly want PSDs again, Iβm willing to bring them back.
They might not be perfect, but I can export them in the cleanest, safest way possible each month.
So I want to hear from you:
π Do you actually want PSDs back as part of the rewards?
π You don't mind .clip files instead?
π Or would you prefer something else β like step-by-step process images or time-lapses?
4οΈβ£ Protecting Your Content & Keeping It Exclusive
One of the biggest frustrations for NSFW artists (myself included) is how easy it is for artwork to get leaked, reposted, or scraped by AI without context or permission.
I totally understand that nothing online is 100% preventable, but I can make it harder for the content to be freely scraped or reposted.
So the new members-only content hub helps with that too:
β¨ Exclusive access, no public gallery
Everything is behind a login wall, so nothing is publicly indexed or shareable.
β¨ Locked content significantly reduces exposure to scraping
Locked content = drastically reduced training exposure.
β¨ Less leakage = more rewards I can safely share
When Iβm not constantly patching leaks, I can focus on creating bigger, better pieces.
Iβm not doing this out of fear, Iβm doing it because your support deserves exclusivity, and I want to ensure that my best work is enjoyed by the people who actually make it possible.
(π This hub and all rewards are strictly 18+ only. By joining, you confirm you are an adult.)
Let me know your thoughts so I can shape rewards around what you actually want, not what I assume.
Comments
Typically after a tier is retired, the creator can choose to either remove the tier entirely, and force members into the closest cost lower tier to avoid overcharging, or the tier goes defunct, and members must actively select a new tier to continue their membership.
