🍭 A Monday Update! + ANNOUNCEMENT 🍭

Good day, darlings! Hope y’all had a relaxing weekend. Gonna jump right into this week’s scheduled update!

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEK

At the start of the month I mentioned I wanted to bring back Kal, a beefy, dom fox character I came up with early last year. Often I 1-off my characters and rarely redraw them. Not by design, I just enjoy frequently making new ones! But going back and redrawing some of my characters helps breath new life into their initial designs. With Kal, so far it’s been a fun and satisfying experience! I’ll be posting WIP’s of him here shortly for my Peckish Peekers!

Now for my announcement—

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

During the day I work in the games industry full-time. It’s been an amazing and challenging job! I love it a lot. A lot of what I learned on the job I’ve applied to my practices here and vice versa. Since January of last year, I’ve been frequently creating weekly content that’s super important to me. And that’s never going to change.

When I opened my Peckish Peeker tier, I felt confident enough that I could put more effort in my output here on top of my day job. Lately, that’s been a really big challenge to a point where I haven’t been delivering much on those rewards. My day job has to take priority, so whatever tasks I’m given there has to come before the work I do on Patreon.

Starting next month, I’ll be temporarily ending my Peckish Peeker tier. At first it made me feel a bit defeated coming to terms with this. Like I let a lot of people down and myself. But looking past that, it’s only going to take a lot of stress off my shoulders and give me time to think of a better and more sustainable path forward. I’m excited about all the new projects I’m starting here. I’ve even taken up learning zBrush so I can make 3D models of my own boys!

I’ll never stop pushing myself to be creative and try new things. Finding the right balance will always be a struggle, but I’ve come so far from where I first started. My Patreon isn’t going away or anything like that! I’m just needing to rethink and prioritize what time I have so my work doesn’t suffer here or with my team. I hope y’all will understand.

TLDR; Peckish Peeker tier is temporarily closing while I balance life and work. Everything else will be staying the same and on schedule!

Genuinely looking forward to this week’s piece and starting a bunch of dragon pieces for next month!! Thank you all so much for your amazing support and understanding. :3
